Where possible we encourage founders looking to exit to work with us to make sure that the business is transaction ready. Unresolved issues (and, even worse, previously unidentified issues) that arise during the course of a transaction can lead to transaction failure or price expectations not being met.
We ensure that all relevant commercial issues are thoroughly canvassed and negotiated and then clearly addressed in the transaction documents.
We are also ensure, when acting on an exit, that we deal not only with the commercial issues but also assist the founder to manage any personal aspects associated with the transaction.
